Dalian Port (PDA) Co has reopened all terminals except the oil terminals that were the site of Friday’s blast. “All terminals at Xingang area and Dayaowan area have resumed operations except for the crude oil terminal of the group,” PDA said. It said on the ground operations at its crude oil terminals had resumed vessel loading and unloading operations remain suspended. PDA said it would “take active measures to resume the vessel loading and unloading operations in the near future.” “The handling and storage capacity of the group for refined oil and liquefied chemicals has not been affected by the accident while part of its handling and storage operations for crude oil has been temporarily affected,” it said. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
