Rostov-on-Don port boundaries are established

The Russian Government in its Decree (14 July 2010, N1160-reg) established the boundaries of the sea port of Rostov-on-Don (Rostov region), the RosMorPort’s Rostov branch statement said.

According to decree the territory of the port of Rostov-on-Don is divided into 16 areas.

Rostov-on-Don is a major transport hub in the Russia’s Southern region. By the Order of Russian Transport Ministry (Jul.9, 2009, N114) the Port of Rostov-on-Don attained the status of the seaport. Last year, the stevedores operating at the port transshipped 6,165,000 tons of cargo.
