Russia spends $83,500 to bring home Russian ship crew detained in Canada

The Russian government sets aside about $83,500 to evacuate 51 crew members from the Lyubov Orlova ship detained in Newfoundland port of St. Jonhn’s (Canada) over debts, RIA Novosti reports
The Lyubov Orlova was detained in late September due to a suit by a haulage contractor over a $251,000 debt. The repatriation of the Russians was postponed at least twice.
Sixteen to twenty seafarers are reported to stay on board to maintain the ship security.
