The Kazakhstan businessmen will be offered to build at these logistics centers warehouse facilities and set up their joint ventures for cargo handling, Mr. Volovoy said, adding that Lithuania offers to invest in the projects that are still undecided.
"Lithuania has a serious basis for developing economic cooperation with Kazakhstan, but because of passiveness, unfavorable railway tariffs, complicated customs procedures, insufficient infrastructure and inconvenient geographical location, Lithuania can fall out of the East-West corridor, and traffic flows can be directed through the ports of other Baltic states," the Kazakhstan agency quoted Mr. Volovoy as saying.
