The keel-laying of the first of two Ro-Ro vessels ordered by the Finnish shipping company Bore from Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft, a German shipbuilding company, headquartered in Flensburg, was held on November 8, 2010.
The owner is most pleased with the performance of the shipyard and delivery for newbuilding 744 is scheduled to April 29, 2011. The vessel will enter a long term charter for Mann Lines. Steel works on the sister vessel, newbuilding 745, has already begun, and her delivery is planned to July 15, 2011.
