Pilotage dues on inland waterways in the area of responsibility of the Azov-Don Dept. will be for Russian ships - 353.54 rubles per hour, for foreign ships - 1,314.81 r/h.
The area of responsibility of the Azov-Don State Basin Dept. includes the Don River from Tsimlyansk reservoir to the Azov Sea (except Constantine and Nikolayevsky hydrosystem), and the Azov-Don canal in north-eastern part of Taganrog Bay. In addition, the Azov-Don Dept. is responsible for navigation in the tributaries of the Don River - the rivers Seversky Donets and Manich. The total length of inland waterways controlled by the Dept is 800 km. In 2009 freight traffic volume through the Azov-Don Basin’s ports rose 9% y-o-y, to 20,781 million tons.
