Crude exports via Primorsk Port drops 1.7%, to 64.77m tons

Volumes of crude oil and petroleum products through the port of Primorsk (Leningrad region) in January-October 2010 fell by 1.7% from the same period of 2009, to 64,770,500 tons, including 4,902,800 tons of diesel fuel, the Big Port of St. Petersburg Port Authority report said.

Monthly volume of oil exports rose to 6,411,700 tons in October, diesel fuel – to 579,300 tons.

Sea port of Primorsk is the largest port in the Russian North region for shipment of exported crude oil and petroleum products. Promorsky Commercial Port LLC specializes in handling crude oil. BaltTransService LLC is engaged in transshipment of diesel fuel.
