Bad weather stops Rotterdam port's terminals operations

Due to a heavy storm which is currently sweeping through the western part of Europe, terminals in Rotterdam have been subject to complete stop the last 12-14 hours, UNIFIDER press release said.

Moreover, the ports of the UK East Coast and Bremerhaven have been characterised by stop and/or slow operations the last 24 hours. Finally, the Kiel-Canal will be closed for several hours this afternoon due to a very high water level at the outlet of the river Elbe.

We are doing our best to diminish the impact the situation might have on our sailings. However, seeing that the heavy weather is expected to continue throughout the weekend delays in the affected areas must be expected.

Our local agents and offices will keep our customers updated on the situation and provide specific information on the impact this has on our various services.
