ZNT’s nine-month revenue jumps 45.6%

Net income of Shipyard ‘Plant Nizhny Novgorod MV’ (JSC ZNT) for the 9 month period ended Sept, 30 increased by 33% according to Russian Accounting Standards over the same period of 2009, to 25,812,000 rubles, the company’s financial statement said. Revenue surged 45.6% from the 9 month period a year earlier, to 422,357,000 rubles.
The nine-month successful financial performance was due to completion and delivery of two diving boats built under the state contract, the report said.

Bor-based ‘Plant Nizhny Novgorod Motor Vessel’ (ZNT, Nizhny Novgorod Region) is a Russian shipbuilding company specializing in construction of vessels and auxiliary fleet, port equipment and marine engineering products. The company is capable of building 135-m-long vessels with the launching weight up to 1,500 tons. Russian Federal Property Management Agency owns 39.99% of common stock in JSC ZNT, CJSC Delta Group -Volga holds a 57.39-percent stake in the shipbuilding company.
