PetroChina’s 35,000 tons of imported diesel have reached port, and diesel will be supplied to the coastal region, reports caijing.com.cn, citing a PetroChina press release.
The fuel is part of the PetroChina's first overseas purchase of 200,000 tons of diesel, made in light of a domestic shortage.
Along with importation of diesel, PetroChina has also transferred the fuel from China’s northeast to the Yangtze River Delta region, comprising Shanghai, Zhejiang Province, and Jiangsu Province.
