Russian FTS posts eco surcharges at Primorsk Oil Terminal

Russian Federal Tariff Service (FTS of Russia) issued a draft order approving the rates of environmental fees charged at the port of Primorsk to ensure environmental safety provided by SpetsMorNeftePort Primorsk LLC. The document is posted on FTS’ website.

According to the document annex, the eco charges for ocean-going ships, will be 4.57 rubles per gt, for ro-ro, flo-flo vessels and containerships - 2,91 r/gt, for all other vessels (except ro-ro, flo-flo, liquid bulk and container carriers) - 4,15 r/gt. The surcharge for coastal ships is proposed for tankers at 1.6 r/gt, for ro-ro, flo-flo, containerships – at 1,02 r/gt, for all vessels (except ro-ro, flo-flo, tankers and containerships) - 1,45 r/gt.
 
Specialized Sea Oil port of Primorsk LLC (Spetsmornefteport Primorsk) is focused on receiving of oil supplied via pipeline, further storage and loading of the liquid cargo onto tankers to ensure crude export volume approved by JSC Transneft.
