Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed a decree on 17 November 2010 (N2059-p), which establishes the boundaries of the sea port of Anadyr located in Chukotka Autonomous District. The document is posted on the government’s website.
Anadyr seaport is located in the northern Bering Sea in the north-west coast of the Gulf of Anadyr. The port is open for Russian ships with a draft not exceeding 7,5 m in the period of summer navigation from July 1 to October 1. Length of quay wall is 249 m. The major port operator is JSC Anadyrmorport. The stevedore company handled last year 268,600 tons of cargo.
