Port of Klaipeda benefits from Afghanistan mission

Anne E. Derse, the US ambassador in Lithuania, has said that the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda has been selected as a port of loading for transit goods bound for the US army in Afghanistan. The first consignment (100 containers) is due to be shipped in December. Klaipeda already handles supplies for German and British troops.
