Oman Shipping to start cargo service from Dec 26

Oman Shipping Co has announced it is to begin operating Fanja carriers to transport containers from the Sultanate to the countries in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, from December 26, Times of Oman has reported. With a capacity ranging from 800 to 1,000 containers of different sizes, the new vessel will initially travel to Beirut, Lattakia, Mersin and Tripoli. “The expansion of new lines to other ports will be done after studying plans and programmes,” OSC said.
