Radioactive contamination of fish products detected on two ships in Primorsky Territory

The radiation monitoring inspection conducted on March 31st aboard two vessels in Primorsky Territory showed radioactive contamination of fish products, the press service of Primorsky department of the Federal Fishery Agency (Rosrybolovstvo).

The radioactive contamination level on the freezer trawler Ussuri (owner LLC Ussuri) was 8.4 micro-roentgen per hour. The contamination level on the upper deck of the vessel was 8 mR/h.

The radioactive contamination level of fish products on board the trawler Pregolsky (owner - JSC OkeanRybFlot) totaled 6 mR/h. The radiation level in the hold #1 was 6 mR/h, in the hold #2 - 3 mR/h.
