Yeysk Sea Port’s cargo volume grows 10% in Q1 to 282,400 tons

Cargo throughput of JSC Yeysk Sea Port in the 1 quarter of 2011 increased in comparison with the same period of 2010 by 9.9% to 282,440 tons, the company’s statistical data said.

Exports of coal handled by the operator in Jan-Mar, 2011 jumped as much as 2.45 times from the same period in 2010, to about 265,500 tons, pulp exports soared by 3.9 times to 11,430 tons. In Q1, 2010, the stevedoring company handled 104,200 tons of exported wheat and about 9,36 tons of corn. This year, the stevedoring company shipped only wheat bran in small quantities.

JSC Yeysk Sea Port is a stevedore operating at the port of Yeysk. In 2010, the company handled 1,525,300 tons of different cargo.
