Oil products sales on Russian SEs grows to 231,85ths tons

Sales of petroleum products on the Russian stock exchanges from 28 March through 1 April 2011 amounted to 231,850 tons, PortNews reports citing analytical review of IAC "Cortez". Overall, there were 195 oil products contracts signed during the period.

Total sales of petroleum products in 5 days increased by 8% from the previous week traded volume, while the number of deals dropped 16%.

The sales volume of diesel fuel fell by 14.8% to 73,03ths tons. Sales of winter grades of diesel fuel increased by 6,500 tons to 20,870 tons, summer grades fuel shrank by 21,300 tons to 52,160 tons. The share of diesel fuel in the structure of petroleum product sales was 31% versus 41% a week earlier, fuel oil (mazut) - 39% to 18%.

Last week, sales of fuel oil rose as much as 2.3 times to 89,300 tons. Gazprom Neft sold 40,500 tons of fuel oil, Bashneft - 30,100 tons of fuel oil.
