Shipbuilder Yangzijiang has unveiled a total of six shipbuilding contracts in March with an aggregate contract value of $214.2m, Seatrade-asia reports. The Singapore-listed Chinese shipbuilder's new contracts comprise two 82,000 dwt bulk carriers, two 10,000 dwt bulk carriers and two 4,800 teu container ships. The vessels are slated for deliveries from 2012 to 2013. Yangzijiang had in total secured 14 shipbuilding contracts with an aggregate value of $512.3m in the first quarter of 2011.
