The «Transport Week-2011» organized by the Russian Transport Ministry is scheduled to be held on November 21-26 at the Moscow EcoCentre «Sokolniki». The event operator is Business Dialogue, the «Transport of Russia» newspaper - official information partner of the Transport Week-2011.
The Transport Week will be attended by representatives of the Russian Government, the Ministry of Transport, federal agencies, legislative and executive authorities, major Russian and foreign companies and the industry mass media.
The Transport Week-2011 includes holding of V Anniversary International Forum «Transport of Russia» (November 23-25) and V Anniversary International Exhibition «Transport of Russia”.
The Forum will focus on urgent issues related to the functioning and development of the Russian transport complex and its further integration into the world’s transport system. Besides, the Forum participants will discuss transport safety and ecology issues related to upcoming major events: Summit APEC – 2012 in Vladivostok, the World Summer Student Games – 2013 (Kazan), the Winter Olympics-2014 (Sochi), the World Football Championship-2018.
Transport of Russia Expo will present last year’s results of the Russian transport industry and promising projects. The event is believed to facilitate further integration of Russian transport into the international transport system.
Besides, the program of «Transport Week-2011» includes holding of scores of events: II International Congress ROAD TRAFFIС RUSSIA-2011, «Traffic Management in the Russian Federation»; International Road Congress «Innovations in road infrastructure»; All-Russia Festival of Arts for Transport Universities students «TranspART-2010»; III Russian Sports Festival for Transport Universities Students, Open Cup of the Russian Ministry of Transport on game sports.
