As of today, April 15th (8:00am - MT), there are only 3 vessels that need icebreaker assistance in the eastern part of the Gulf of Finland, the Port Authority of Big Port St. Petersburg said.
The PA reports of 15 merchant ships currently located in the water area, 12 of them - in motion.
Over the past day 11 ships have reached the entrance buoy of St Petersburg port. 35 vessels are westbound from the Gulf area, 13 ships called and 18 left the port. Overall, there are 61 cargo ships and 411 local ships at the port.
There is only one vessel subject to ice restrictions at the port of Ust-Luga
