Samudera Shipping executive director resigns

Indonesia-based Samudera Shipping has on Wednesday accepted the resignation of executive director Dhrubajyoti Das, who is in charge of commercial and strategic business development, Seatrade-asia reports. Das, 45, tendered his resignation on 19 April and the last day of his service with the company and its subsidiaries will be 30 June. The reason given for Das' leaving the company is “to pursue other interests of opportunities.” Das joined the Samudera Indonesian Group in 1992 and was head of corporate business development of the group prior to his present appointment.
