The construction of the Nord Stream offshore gas pipeline has been resumed in Russian territorial waters, PortNews reports citing press office of Inflot Worldwide Ferry Services, an agent of the fleet, engaged in the project operations.
Today, 22 April 2011, the MV Seahorse (owner Boskalis Offshore BV-Tideway) made first entry into the area west off the island of Hogland to dump filling gravel along the first line.
According to Michael Prosvirkin, CEO of Inflot Worldwide Ferry Services Ltd., the continuation of the main phase of the project, the laying of the second line of the Nord Stream pipeline, is scheduled for early or mid-May this year.
