Russia's top energy producer Gazprom and Japan Far East Gas Co. consortium signed an agreement to conduct a feasibility study on possible construction of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Russia, Reuters reports.
Gazprom also said on Tuesday that the companies discussed the possibility of setting up a petrochemical plant near Russia's Pacific Ocean port of Vladivostok.
