Production volume of diesel fuel in Russia for a week from 18 to 24 April 2011 increased by 6.4% from a week earlier, to 1,327 million tons, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.
During the week the fuel production increased: in the Yaroslavl region – by 0.8%, in the Leningrad region - by 9.3%, in the Volgograd region – by 2.3%, in the Republic of Bashkortostan – by 4.4%, in the Republic of Tatarstan - by 11.5%, in the Samara region - by 33.5%. At the same time, production of diesel fuel fell by 2.7% in the Saratov region, and by 11.2% in Moscow.
