First Container Terminal (FCT) posted for January-July of this year a 9.9-percent growth from a year earlier, to 709 585 TEUs, the National Container Company (NCC) said.
In July, container traffic at FCT jumped by 22 percent to 111 741 TEUs, including 54 389 TEUs of export containers, 57 352 TEUs of imported containers and 12 346 TEUs of reefer containers.
In July, the terminal handled 75 boxships, 1 490 TEUs per vessel.
Half-year container throughput of Logistika-Terminal totaled 49 727 TEUs. In June the terminal handled 7 388 TEUs (3 748 containers).
