Sea Port St. Petersburg is the legal successor to all rights of First Stevedoring Company and the obligations to its clients. All employees of former FSC were hired by the company under the same contracts.
Now, with the merger of FSC the process of reorganization of JSC Sea Port St. Petersburg has been fully completed. The program was initiated by majority owner of SP St. Pb – Universal Cargo Logistics Holding. Third Stevedoring Company and Second Stevedoring Company merged into Sea Port St. Petersburg on March 24 and May 12, 2011, respectively.
Emergence of a single port operator will help streamline the UCLH business, cutting down on administrative costs, and strengthen its stevedoring assets competitiveness on the market of Big Port St. Petersburg, the report says.
