Container Terminal of JSC Fourth Stevedoring Company (FSC, part of Sea Port St. Petersburg Group), handled the first container train, which is bound for the destination station Moskva-Tovarnaya Oktiabrskaya, the stevedore company said.
76-20-foot containers of Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC) were carried in 40 rail cars of JSC TransContainer. The train is projected to become a weekly service.
Container Terminal of Fourth Stevedoring Company has two side tracks to handle container trains at the on-dock yard. Effective length of each of the tracks is 469 m, the total length - 700m. Containers are delivered through the station Avtovo. The Terminal cooperates with Team Lines, APL, Sea Connect, Unifeeder, Maersk, MSC, Delta Shipping Lines.
