Offshore ice-resistant fixed platform "Prirazlomnaya" arrived this morning at its designated location in the Pechora Sea, Sevmash press office said.

The huge platform weighing about 117000 tons was transported from Severodvinsk to Murmansk last autumn for completion of the ballasting and outfitting at 35th Shipyard – a Murmansk branch of Ship Repair Center “Zvezdochka.”

The Prirazlomnaya platform left the dock of 35th Shipyard in Murmansk on August 18 and being escorted by 4 tugs successfully reached the site in 8 days thanks to favorable weather, covering nearly 540 miles.
