Evergreen Marine slipped on first-half earnings after reporting lower net profit and revenue, Seatrade Asia online reports. The Taipei-listed box liner posted first-half net profit of NT$1.39bn ($47.9m), down 65.5% from NT$4.03bn in the same period of last year. Revenue for the period fell to NT$7.59bn compared to NT$8.6bn a year ago. The company's operating income booked a loss of NT$568.74m as against a gain of NT$178.75m year-on-year.
