EU to drop sanctions against Libyan port

The European Union is expected to lift the sanctions imposed against Libya’s ports and 22 firms, including some oil companies, BBC reported.

The European Union reached the decision in principle today, August 31, 2011. The EU governments will formally approve the decision on September 1st, EU diplomats say.
