Operating income of GEFCO Group for the first half of this year amounted to EUR 143 million up 17.2 percent over the same period of last year, the company statement said.
The Group’s revenue for the period totaled EUR 2.017 billion, an increase of 17 5 percent year-on-year.
GEFCO Group, one of the 10 transport and logistics groups in Europe, is a 100 percent owned subsidiary of PSA Peugeot Citroën. The Group offers its integrated services in six key areas – transportation logistics solutions, international transportation, flexible and environmental packaging solutions, trucking, vehicles delivery, customs and tax representation. In 2010, the Company's revenues totaled EUR 3.351 billion, a 16-percent gain year-on-year.
