SapuraCrest inks offshore vessel order
SapuraCrest Petroleum clinched a RM99.5m ($31m) contract to construct one unit platform supply vessel (PSV) for Tanjung Kapal Services, wholly-owned by Tanjung Offshore, Seatrade Asia online reports. The PSV, to be built at SapuraCrest's 50% owned Labuan Shipyard & Engineering, will be delivered within 21 months from the date of the contract announced on Monday.
The Labuan shipyard is capable of handling ships up to 16,000 dwt with the capability for further expansion to take vessels of more than 20,000 dwt.
