Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced a Rate Restoration Surcharge (RRS) on all cargo from European ports (NWC, Scandinavia, Baltic, West and East Mediterranean and Black Sea) to the Middle East (Oman, Persian Gulf states and Iran) and to the Far East (China, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, the company press release said.
The surcharge is effective of October 15, 2011 as follows:

- Availability of equipment will be exclusively during the week prior to the sailing of the booked vessel.
