NPK transportation up 14.1% in January-September 2006

In January-September 2006, the New Transportation Company OJSC (Novaya Perevozochnaya Kompaniya, NPK) upped its transportations by 14.1% y-o-y to 28.755 mln tons, the Company says.
The share of oil cargoes in the Company's freight turnover grew by 33.3% to 6.496 mln tons; that of ores rose by 4.7% to 5.922 mln tons, of ferrous metals - by 24.5% to 7.960 mln tons, of mineral and building cargoes - by 106.4% to 2.288 mln tons. Coal transportations slid by 50.6% to 3.052 mln tons.
NPK's revenues for the reporting period totaled RUB 11.2 bn, which is 22% more y-o-y.
NPK is an independent Russian company who transports bulk oil, metal products and minerals, coal, building materials, and other goods. The Company was established in 2003.
