Hyundai trains-laden ship docks at Odessa port

Pilots of SE Delta-Pilot on March 11 guided the China-flagged LE Li laden with Hyundai high-speed trains to Berth Number 3 of Odessa Commercial Sea Port (OCSP), the state-owned pilot company said.


Yuri Kharkov, Deputy CEO of SE Delta-Pilot responsible for ships traffic regulation and pilot service noted that the vessel was towed from anchorage directly to Berth Number 3 of OCSP. The total weight of cargo onboard the ship was 15,726 tons.


The LE Li overall length is 182.67 meters, beam – 26.2 meters, build year - 2000.


State Enterprise Delta-Pilot was established in 1998 by Ukraine’s Transportation Ministry to enhance pilot services and safety of navigation in the northwest part of the Black Sea. The company a fleet of 17 pilot boats, 3 workboats and the “Haidamak” ice-class tug.
