Sovcomflot (SCF Group) on March 12, accepted delivery of the new product tanker SCF Prudencia, another ship that expands the fleet of nine LR1 product carriers of a joint venture created in November 2012 between SCF Group and the world's largest oil trader Glencore International AG. The Group said on Wednesday.
The vessels are managed by SCF Unicom Singapore, an affiliate of SCF Group.
The Panamax tankers series feature double hull, DWT - 74.120 tons, length - 228 m, breadth - 32.2 m. The tankers are able to transport up to 12 grades of oil cargo. The improved technical specifications of tankers meet all international standards of navigation safety and fully comply with international standards for modern oil product terminals.
