SASCO launches new Busan-Nakhodka service

Sakhalin Shipping Company (SASCO) Busan, South Korea on March 17 with the first sailing of the MV Paromay launched its new line service linking the ports of Busan and Nakhodka, the shipping company said.


The Sakhalin company deployed the Ro-Lo vessel with capacity of 220 TEUs to serve the new line. The 4617dwt ship will call every week at the Korean port, carrying containers and general cargoes from Asia to Russia.


Port of Busan is a hub for all cargoes moved from Southeast Asia and a gateway for major international shipping lines.  


OJSC Sakhalin Shipping Company (SASCO) is one of the largest shipping companies in Russia. SASCO operates a fleet of ice-class vessels capable of carrying a wide range of cargoes: containers, general cargo, equipment, suction and grab bulk cargo, timber and wood products. The company provides year-round transportation from the ports of De-Kastri, Vanino and Sovetskaya Gavan.
