China plans to invest $190.9 billion into the development of railway infrastructure by 2010, PRIME-TASS reports with reference to the representative of Chinese National Committee on development and reforms Li Goyun. According to him, the coming years will see 20%-extension of Chinese railways. As early as in 2007, almost $38 billion will be allocated for construction of new railways. The plan of Chinese railway network development implies not only its extension but modernization as well, Li Goyun noted.
