Finnlines to hold stockholders meeting in April

Finnlines PLC, a leading Ro-Ro and passenger services provider, has slated the Annual General Meeting of shareholders for Tuesday, 17 April 2012, the Company press release said.

The AGM agenda is as follows:

Presentation of the Annual Accounts of 2011;
The Report of the Board of Directors and the Auditor’s Report for the Year 2011;
The adoption of the Annual Accounts by shareholders. The Board of Directors proposes to the Annual General Meeting that no dividend shall be paid for the accounting period ended on 31 December 2011 and, therefore, no dividend payment date shall be determined;
Election of members of the Board of Directors and the Auditor, other issues.

Finnlines is a leading shipping operator of Ro-Ro and passenger services in the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. The Company is part of the Grimaldi Group, one of the world's largest operators of Ro-Ro vessels and the largest operator of Motorway of the Sea in Europe for both passengers and freight.

Volume-wise biggest line is Travemünde-Helsinki line operated by 5 large Star Class ro-ro passenger ferries. Additionally, Finnlines runs port operations in Helsinki, Turku and Kotka.
