After almost a year Bulgarian ship detained in Romania returns to Bulgaria
After almost a whole year the Bulgarian ship detained in Romania returned to the seaport in the Bulgarian city of Varna, Radio FOCUS – Varna reported.
Ship captain Hristo Spasov commented that this almost one year of stress and terror has nearly ruined his life. He added that the crew, which initially consisted of 10 people, no longer exists and everything should be started from a scratch.
The ship’s arrival was attended by Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture and Food Miroslav Naydenov, the director of the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture and experts.
The Bulgarian ship was detained in Romania in mid-April 2011, over accusation of poaching.
