The FESCO Stavropol, the forth bulk carrier being built at Qingshan Shipyard for FESCO Group has completed sea trials, the Russian company said.
After the trials the ship will be outfitted and within the next month join the fleet of FESCO.
The FESCO Stavropol is the last in a series of newbuilds constructed by the Chinese shipbuilder for the Russian company. Last year, FESCO commissioned a pair of dry bulk carriers the FESCO Saratov and the FESCO Simferopol and in 2012 - the FESCO Smolensk.
All vessels have the same characteristics: DWT – 57,000 tons, length - 189.99 m, beam - 32.26 m, depth - 18.0 m, draft - 12.80 m, five holds capacity - 71,500 cbm. All vessels of the series are equipped with four hydraulic cranes each of lifting capacity of 30 tons. The three bulkers today operate mainly in the Asia-Pacific region transporting dry bulk cargoes.
