SOCAR begins using its oil terminal in UAE

SOCAR Trading, a trade house of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), has launched operation of Aurora terminal in Fujairah port (UAE), ABC.az reports.
SOCAR Trading reports that the first shipment of black oil at the terminal was carried out in April.
The terminal has a storage capacity of 114,000 cu m or about 640,000 barrels of oil.
SOCAR Trading S.A. is a co-owner of terminal SOCAR AURORA Fujairah Terminal in the United Arab Emirates designed for petroleum products of the third party.
Together with Swiss trade company Aurora Progress the Company is constructing a terminal for oil products with capacity 641,000 cu m in UAE port Fujayra. The issue of terminal’s use for SOCAR products is not considered. SOCAR AURORA Fujairah Terminal will have 20 reservoirs for oil products, gasoline, kerosene and middle distillates (diesel fuel, gasoil and jet fuel). As independent operator SOCAR AURORA Fujairah Terminal will store output of third parties.
