Sea Port St. Pb profit soars 64 times

Net income of JSC Sea Port St. Petersburg in 2011 totaled RUB 101.08 million, a 64 times surge year-over-year, the stevedore company said on Monday.


Revenues for the reporting period increased by 1.9 times from a year earlier, to 2.27 million rubles.


JSC Sea Port St. Petersburg (part of UCL Port, a stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is the largest stevedore providing services for handling all types of dry cargo in Big Port St. Petersburg. The company operates modern specialized terminals for handling Ro-Ro cargo, imported vehicles and metals. In 2011, Sea Port St. Petersburg transshipped 7.4 million tons of cargo.
