Hapag-Lloyd to hike rates in India-North Europe & Mediterranean trade
Hapag-Lloyd will increase the rates in the trade from India (Zone 1) to North Europe and the Mediterranean by: USD 100 per TEU effective May 15, 2012, the German ocean carrier said on Tuesday.
Applicable for all shipments from India (Zone 1) to all North Europe and Mediterranean (excluding South and West Africa) destinations.
India Zone 1 comprises the West Coast ports of India (Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Delhi) and all inland container depot (ICD) locations moving via the ports of Nhava Sheva and Mundra.
North Europe comprises North West Continent, the U.K., Scandinavia, Baltic and European ports of Russia.
Mediterranean comprises the West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean, Black Sea and North Africa.
