Rosnefteflot Board taps news CEO

The Supervisory Board of JSC Rosnefteflot appointed Oleg Tereshchenko as CEO of Rosneftflot, the company said on Friday. Tereshchenko replaces Andrei Aprelenko who resigned yesterday.

Before Oleg Tereshchenko joined Rosneftflot as a manager of transportation, handling and customs clearance he had worked for Rosneftetrans. Since 2008 Tereshchenko has been Deputy Manager of the Department of Logistics and Transport.

Rosnefteflot has been active in organizing the construction of new vessels, both for Rosneft and for other companies. For 14 years, under the supervision of Rosnefteflot the Russian and foreign shipyards have built 25 vessels for various purposes.

At present Rosnefteflot operates 27 vessels of various classes. In 2011, the company has successfully implemented projects for new bunkering tankers in the ports of Murmansk and Tuapse.

Rosnefteflot has become one of the largest companies in Russia, providing towing services, with branches network in Murmansk, Nakhodka, St. Petersburg, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Tuapse and Ust-Luga.
