Laky Verf completes two serial patrol boats for federal agencies
Shlisselburg-based Laky Verf has completed the construction of the 5th and 6th vessels of a series of salvage and patrol boats designed by Laky Verf (Project № 13). The project was ordered by the government to federal agencies, the shipbuilding firm said.
The company will display the RCHS 00-01, a multipurpose patrol boat at the EMERCOM Integrated Safety & Security Expo, 22-25 May. The 5th serial boat will be delivered to the Customer, the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels (GIMS), EMERCOM, on May 29.
The 6th boat ("Patrulny-10") was launched on May 12, 2012, and yesterday was shipped to the North-Eastern branch of GosMorRechNadzor (a maritime and river transport safety watchdog).
A launching ceremony for the next two serial aluminum boats is scheduled for July-August being built for the federal supervising agencies.
In September 2012 the shipbuilding firm will deliver to the Customer (the Interior Ministry) a multipurpose search and rescue police boat, the 9th and final vessel of the series.
In 2011, the company delivered four boats to state agencies. The new high speed aluminum patrol boats are equipped for search and rescue (law-enforcement functions) operations.
Laky Verf plans to introduce its patrol boats at the Baltic Marine Festival (May 31-June 3) in St. Petersburg. On 1-4 June the company will debut its 23-m-long aluminum yacht “Sigal” at the Burevestnik Boat Show.
Laky Verf Ltd. based at Nevsky Shipyard owns its own production facilities. Since 2005, the company has been building steel and aluminum motor luxury yachts. complying with the European standards and belonging to the A-Ocean Class. The vessels are being built under the survey of Bureau Veritas, an acknowledged Classification Sosiety. Interior and exterior of our yachts are developed by the famous Dutch designers Guido de Groot (Guido de Groot Design) and Frank Laupman (Omega Architects).
