Asia Maritime Pacific and OSL Holdings merge
Asia Maritime Pacific (Hong Kong) and OSL Holdings have merged their operations of the handysize and mini-bulker/multi-purpose sectors (6,000-40,000 dwt) with a fleet of 21 modern dry bulk vessels, Seatrade Asia online reports.
The new entity, Asia Maritime Pacific (AMP), will focus on the Asia-Australia regions and China-West African routes.
Asia Maritime Pacific (Hong Kong) was an owner and operator of mini-bulker/multi-purpose vessels operating across intra-Asia and Australasia trade, while OSL Holdings was in the handysize business.
“Our goal is for AMP to be a 'one-stop' shop for our customers' dry bulk shipping needs,” said Rita Jia, newly appointed coo of AMP.
The newly merged entity has over 60 employees based in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, London, Luanda and Melbourne.
