Novorossiysk port shipped nearly 4.5 mln t of grains in Jan-Oct 08

During 10 months of 2008, Novorossiysk sea trading port shipped nearly 4.49 mln tonnes of grains, which is almost equal to the level of the previous year.
During July-October, 2008, from the cancellation of export duties for grains, the port managed to completely make up the deficiency of exported grains volumes in the first half of 2008. In August, the port launched Novorossiysk grain terminal, which ships nearly 550.000 tonnes of grains per month, AgriMarket.info reports according to RZD-Partner.
