In January-November 2008, total throughput of container terminals of NCC (National Container Company) grew by 15.1%, year-on-year, to 1.609.9 mln TEU, the company reports.
In the 11-month period, First Container Terminal handled 985,402 TEU (+13.3%, year-on-year).
In November the terminal handled 92,668 TEU (+10.2%) including 47,883 TEU of export containers and 44,785 TEU of import containers. Turnover of refrigerated containers grew by 25.1% against November 2007 to 8,529 TEU.
In November FCT handled 64 vessels with average turnover of 1,448 TEU per vessel.
In January-November, container throughput of Nodal Transporting and Forwarding Company of Novorossiysk amounted to 112,341 TEU (-10.8%, year-on-year). In November the company handled 12,492 TEU (+65%) including 5,827 TEU of export and 6,665 TEU of import. Loaded/empty containers ratio was 67% against 33% respectively. In November the terminal handled 10 vessels with average turnover of 1,249 TEU per vessel.
In the 11-month period Ukrtranscontainer handled 512,248 TEU (+27.1%, year-on-year).
In November the terminal handled 38,898 TEU (-9.1%, year-on-year) including 18,285 TEU of export and 20,613 TEU of import. Loaded/empty containers ratio was 53% against 47%.
