Oil price up to $43.42 in London and to $43.71 in New York

In London, the January Brent Crude contract was up $3.68 on December 8 to $43.42 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude for January delivery climbed $2.90 to $ 43.71 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
